Day 19!

Traditions! Eeek... I don't have many, but then thought, although not a "family" thing that we do, I do have a sort of tradition of not eating meat on Good Friday, here is the story:

Why No Meat?
I don’t eat meat on Good Friday, not for any religious reason, simply because growing of up with my grand parents. They didn’t eat meat on Good Friday and. I guess I’m trying to keep that tradition, when so many others were taken away from me. I don’t force it on my children, quite often Paul will cook me a separate meal for Good Friday, or just leave the meat off my plate. I truly believe that everyone should make their own choices, and do what they feel is right for them. I guess it’s my way of telling those who keep trying to take away my choices, that it’s not their place.

I hope one day my grandchildren get to read this and understand why the old chook doesn't eat meat on Good Friday!! This is another "odd" sized layout (doing a lot of them lately for my About Me album. It's 4" wide by 8" tall, going in a modified protector.
